Main duties

o Ensuring the bank and balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time
o Assisting with the cash flow reporting
o Assisting with forecast planning
o Processing receipts and banking duties
o Processing VAT Reports and analysing adjustments where necessary
o Other duties that are consistent with the post as determined by the Financial Reporting Manager

Person Specification

Essential

1. Genuine commitment and passion to the work of for this Social Enterprise.
2. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. To have completed the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) examinations or equivalent.
3. To be a capable user of computerised accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
4. At least 1-2 years of experience of analysing financial data in an accurate and timely manner.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing with an appreciation of a professional approach.
6. A co-operative and flexible approach to working with others to meet agreed objectives and deadlines.
7. Previous experience of working in a busy environment.
8. Be willing to go beyond their day-to-day duties if required.
9. Proven self management skills enabling the role holder to set and manage priorities.

Desirable

1. Knowledge and experience of using Xero
